The story of Tierra Hall is as horrible as it can get. How can a teenager who said they lived with someone kill them because they thought they were cheating? Now, this is just crazy. On March 28, 2015, the police heard about a terrible murder. It was a dead body in an empty Durham, North Carolina house in the 4100 block of Trotter Ridge Road. Not only was it slow, but there were also about 14 knife wounds in it. Now think about that! This story will make your heart beat fast.
Tierra Hall’s mother, Koteya Hall, raised her alone in the busy city of Texas. Then, the family moved to North Carolina to find better living places. Hall was always happy and one of her class’s smartest students. The 17-year-old girl wanted to go to North Carolina Central University, but a boy who was too obsessed with her ended her life.
Who was Tierra Hall’s Killer boyfriend
As part of their investigation, the police found Kelton Breshon Fox, a 17-year-old student at the same school who used to date, Tierra. Koteya said that the two had been in and out of a relationship, but Tierra broke it off for good around Christmas 2014 because Koteya was “too needy.” Tierra didn’t give Koteya much information, but Koteya didn’t see any signs of trouble and thought her daughter was fine.
But footage from the school’s security cameras showed that Kelton was involved in what happened to Tierra. On March 27, 2015, the video shows that the two met several times during the day. Most of the conversations seemed friendly, but at one point, Kelton was seen taking Tierra’s phone and running away with it. The ex-couple left high school together at about 12:25 p.m.
The two were seen walking away from the school together on security footage from where Tierra’s body was found. But later, Kelton was seen walking alone toward the school. Also, the police found out that Kelton used to live in the house where the body was found. The police saw “King K the Savage” written on the door. Kelton used this phrase on his Facebook page as part of his name.
After Kelton went back to school, he was seen walking straight to the bathroom with his hands in his sleeves. Kelton never went back to class. Instead, he called his mom and left school around 2:07 p.m. The police found blood near the trash can in the bathroom. When Kelton’s house was searched, shoes were found that looked like the ones Kelton wore when Tierra was killed. They had her blood on them, which was later confirmed. Also, the police found a journal that talked about “King K the Savage” and “an uncontrollable blood lust.”
Where is Kelton Breshon Fox Now
The police said that in the days before the murder, Tierra had been talking to another possible romantic partner. Despite the fact that her phone could show that it was never found. In the end, the government said that Kelton lured Tierra to his old house, where he killed her. In June 2018, Kelton admitted to killing someone in the second degree. During sentencing, Kelton’s defense team brought up several mitigating circumstances, such as the fact that his father had left him as a child and that he had grown up in a violent home.
Also, Kelton’s defense said he had PTSD, hallucinations, paranoia, and some symptoms of borderline personality disorder. Ultimately, he was given a prison sentence of 12 to 15 years. Records from Gaston Correctional Institution in Dallas, North Carolina, show that Kelton is still in jail. He should get out of jail in April 2027.
Tierra Hall was a girl who wanted to run her own business, but a boy who was crazy about her cut her life short. It’s crazy that things like this happen. Tierra Hall’s body was found with 14 knife wounds on her head, neck, shoulders, and arm. The attack was so violent that the knife’s tip broke off in Tierra Hall’s cheek. In an interview with a news organization, Durham Police Chief Jose Lopez said, “Too many young people use violence to solve their problems.”
