As a child of ten, she recorded her foremost single, titled I am going to be the only female fiddle player in Charlie Daniel Band.
Evans has won numerous awards, including the Academy of Country Music Award for Top Female Vocalist, the Grammy Award for Best Female Country Vocal Performance, and the Country Music Association Award for Single of the Year.
