Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American model, actress, and singer. She was born on April 28, 1967, in Brookfield, Connecticut. Her mother is a payroll accountant, and her father, German-American, is a police officer and car salesman. Kari has three siblings. She sang in nightclubs as a teenager sneaking out of the home to perform.
When she was 13 years old, Kari studied acting at the Wooster School, then enrolled in drama studies at Tisch School of the Arts in New York University, Columbia University, Marymount Manhattan College; plus, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art with renowned teacher Uta Hagen. Kari stepped into acting as a teenager, and her first television break was in 1987 MTV’s Remote Control.
